About Lotus Arena Pattaya
Lotus Arena Pattaya is an events venue in Pattaya, Thailand, holding around 4,000 for concerts, live shows and entertainment. It stands in Nong Prue, a subdistrict of the Bang Lamung District, on the Sukhumvit Road corridor that runs the length of the city in Chon Buri province.
The venue gives Pattaya a dedicated home for live events, so touring artists and productions can play the eastern seaboard rather than only Bangkok. Its programme is a rolling calendar built date by date, with each concert or show listed on its own page once the organiser confirms it.
This page is an information guide to the venue, its setting and how to reach it. For the current line-up and to book, open the events page, where every show carries its own live availability and ticket categories. A shorter overview is on the About Venue page.
Location and Setting
Lotus Arena Pattaya sits in Nong Prue, in the Bang Lamung District of Chon Buri province, on the Sukhumvit Road corridor a short drive inland from the seafront. The Central Pattaya shopping district and Pattaya Beach are close by, with the quieter Jomtien beachfront a little further south, so the venue is roughly ten minutes from the city centre and from most of the hotels where visitors stay.
Being this central keeps the trip to a show short for anyone based around the beaches. U-Tapao (Pattaya) International Airport lies to the south-east, the nearest airport for domestic and regional flights, while Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport is about two hours north by expressway. The streets around the venue are part of the city rather than an out-of-town site, so cafés, restaurants and hotels are within easy reach before and after an event.
Getting There
Pattaya has no rail transit within the city, so every journey to Lotus Arena Pattaya is by road. The venue is on the Sukhumvit Road corridor through Nong Prue, reached from Motorway 7 (the Bangkok–Pattaya expressway) and the city's main north–south roads.
Getting to the venue:
- By car — the venue sits just inland of the beach districts on Sukhumvit Road; from central Pattaya and the beachfront the drive is usually well under fifteen minutes outside peak times
- From U-Tapao Airport — roughly forty-five minutes south-east by road, the closest airport for domestic and regional arrivals
- From Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) — about two hours north via Motorway 7, the usual arrival point for long-haul visitors
- Taxi and ride-hailing — metered taxis and the Grab app both operate across Pattaya, with drop-off in the Nong Prue area on Sukhumvit Road
- Songthaew baht-buses — shared baht-buses run set routes along Sukhumvit Road and the beach roads for short local hops, though they thin out later in the evening
Traffic on Sukhumvit Road and the beach roads is slow in the evenings, so allow extra time for a show with an evening start, and arrange a taxi or Grab for the return trip on busy nights, when demand for cars around the venue rises as the event ends. Fuller routes and parking notes are on the Getting There guide.
Venue Facilities
Entry is by the ticket for your event, checked at the doors. The seating categories on sale are set by each organiser for their own date — which is why the choices vary from one show to the next and appear on that event's page once you start a selection. Parking is confirmed per event; where on-site or nearby parking is offered, arriving early on a busy night gives the best chance of a space close to the entrance.
For anyone arriving by taxi or Grab, a level drop-off close to the entrance is the simplest option, including for visitors with mobility needs. If you have specific accessibility requirements, contact support@lotusarenapattaya.com ahead of the date so arrangements can be confirmed. Common event-day questions are answered on the FAQ.
Visiting Pattaya
Pattaya has a tropical climate with a drier season from around November to February and a wetter monsoon from May to October, when short heavy showers are common. Evenings stay warm through the year, so light clothing usually suits an event, with a light rain layer worth carrying in the green season.
Because the venue sits close to the beaches and the Central Pattaya district, an evening at a show fits easily around the rest of a stay — dinner nearby, the event, and a short trip back to the hotel. Most visitors reach the venue by car, taxi or a ride-hailing app, so planning the return journey in advance is sensible on busy event nights.
For a shorter overview of the venue see the About Venue guide, and for directions and parking the Getting There page. When you are ready to book, the events calendar lists every Pattaya date currently on sale, each with its own availability and ticket categories.
